Said Patti Renner, editor of Tire Review, “The award shines the spotlight on the most successful businesses in our industry, especially the owners and team members who support that success. We see our Top Shop Winners and Finalists as an inspiration for others in our industry.”

Ms. Renner continued, “The level of competition was incredible this year, so I’m very proud of our finalists, among the best-of-the-best tire dealers out there. Year after year of this competition, the North American tire dealers continue to raise the bar when it comes to professionalism, dedication and innovation. They work very hard at setting a high standard among businesses of all types – even beyond our industry. They have a lot to be proud of.”

The 2016 Top Shop Award finalist were a select group of over 130 entrants.  Judges selected 25 semi-finalists which were then required to complete an extensive entry form and provide details about their business including size, sales mix, merchandising techniques, customer service, training, achievement, and their role in their community. From there, eight semi-finalists were chosen for final judging by an independent panel of judges.

Mr. Luppino said “We recognize that without our customers, we wouldn’t be where we are today. We’re part of a community that’s important to us. We love being able to give back. It has nothing to do with money. It has everything to do with doing what’s right. Being selected as a Top Shop finalist is a fantastic honor for Bud’s Tire Pros and for all of our employees.”
