Resort-Style Senior Housing, Assisted Living and Memory Care Comes to Southwest Riverside County at Renaissance Village Murrieta

Continental East Development recently opened its long anticipated 225-bed Renaissance Village Murrieta for seniors.  The Village offers the elderly an ability to have not only a good life, but a better life here in a resort-style community, according  to CED Inc. President, Al Rattan .

The three-story complex spans seven acres adjacent to The Colony Murrieta Homes, California Oaks Golf Course, and just minutes from shopping, pharmacies and historic downtown Murrieta.

Renaissance Village Murrieta offers independent living, assisted living and memory care.    It boasts one of the highest levels of staffing in senior communities to assist residents with whatever they need such as on-site rehabilitation services, or to simply shuttle them into town to run an errand or attend an event.

CED Inc. President, Al Rattan. “With our active lifestyle, what we’re doing is bringing our seniors back,”

Murrieta elected officials applaud the new facility.  Mayor Pro Tem Jonathan Ingram presented a framed certificate recognizing CED and Rattan’s work to create a senior housing complex that enhances the quality of life.

“It’s one of those facilities that we desperately need,” said Murrieta City Councilman, Kelly Seyarto.  “It’s almost a hotel atmosphere, a resort atmosphere for older people. They can move about safely, and enjoy socializing with other people.  The recreational facilities are outstanding.”

Renaissance Village Murrieta is all about lifestyle.  The Village offers meals prepared by a culinary trained chef and served in a fine-dining room.  Residents can also go to a bistro or have a cocktail at an Americana bar.  Residents can also attend twice-weekly fitness classes in what is Southern California’s first licensed Geri-Fit program.

Residents can also hit the Bocce Ball Court or do their own thing in one of the large recreation areas.  There are also walking trails, and a dog park on the premises.  When residents entertain their families, they can use a spacious outdoor patio and grill or take their youngest family members to a fun zone for kids.  The Village also offers a cinema, beauty salon, computer room and library.

“We really take care of the whole person,” said Renaissance Villages Inc. Senior Executive Director, Shannon Hundley.  “We believe in the Renaissance lifestyle which encompasses the mind, body and spirit, and everything is resident driven.”

Besides Renaissance Village Murrieta, CED recently opened Renaissance Village Rancho Belago in Moreno Valley.  Plans are also underway for a third Renaissance Village in Indio.
