The Newly renovated 66 room Comfort Inn & Suites is located in Murrieta just off the 15 Fwy at the California Oaks exit. Comfort Inn & Suites is the newest addition to the city of Murrieta's hospitality facilities. The owner John Wang, when asked why he chose Murrieta to establish his newest business venture stated, "Murrieta is a very business-friendly city and they provide all the support we need. So far this relationship has been nothing but positive". Attending the event was Jonathan Ingram, Mayor pro tem for the city of Murrieta. He talked about why the city is looking to attract more hospitality-type businesses to the city; "The reasons for wanting hotels and hospitality in Murrieta is we’re centrally located, we’re close to San Diego and we’re close to wine country". Attracting hospitality businesses like the Comfort Inn & Suites to the city of Murrieta benefits the community as a whole. During the ribbon-cutting ceremonies, the president of the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce Patrick Ellis stated, "Hospitality is a huge industry that benefits the city in many ways. One of those is that it helps other ancillary businesses in our community such as restaurants, convenience stores, etc".
