A local tire dealer is honored with an award for his support of non-profit organizations throughout 2015.

Bud Luppino, owner of Bud’s Tire and Wheel Tire Pros was honored with the 2015 Community Partner Award voted on by his peers, fellow Tire Pros dealers on the National Dealer Council. The award was presented to Luppino at the Tire Pros National Dealer Business Conference on February 23, 2016 at Miramar Naval Air Base in San Diego, CA. Luppino’s donation amounts total well over 1 million dollars over the past 20 years and he, his family, and his employees have spent countless hours supporting community organizations. He was recognized in 2014 as Humanitarian Dealer of the Year by Tire Business Magazine, a national publication serving the tire industry.

Some of the local and national organizations to which Luppino has volunteered his time and dollars are: The Salvation Army, The Riverside Police Foundation, The American Diabetes Foundation, U.S. Vets, Family Service Association, Read Across America, The Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Research Fund, Kiwanis Club, Boy Scouts of America, The Arc, the Janet Goeske Foundation, and Community Connect. Luppino also sponsors and lends his time to the Riverside and Moreno Valley Unified School Districts by sponsoring perfect attendance awards, automotive instruction, sports, and read-a-thons. He often stops by classrooms to speak to students about success, hard-work, and dedication.

Luppino explains, “We are empathetic about supporting our local community and welcome the opportunity to give back to the people who have supported our business. We are confident our ongoing support contributes significantly to making the community a better place to live, whether it be sponsoring local children’s sports or participating as board members with nonprofit or other community organizations.”

Quick Chadwick, Director of Marketing for Tire Pros, understands the importance of local tire dealers giving back to their communities by way of charitable endeavors. “Because our dealers support and engage with causes at all levels – local, regional, and national – that gives us an opportunity to share our story and show our commitment to our communities, and that is what makes us truly different and better,” said Chadwick.
